DAY 1 - HOMETOWN - Chicago

Airport Pickup Information:

   1. Complementary airport pickup is provided between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. at O?Hare Airport. (You may have to wait for other guests.) No complementary pick-up service at Midway airport.

   2. 24-hour charged pick-up service is available for the first two persons at $120 with $10 for each additional person.

 

The first day’s itinerary is for your reference only; the schedule is subject to change upon your arrival.

Fly from home to Chicago. For passengers arriving with domestic flights, please wait at Baggage Claim area; for passengers taking International flight, please wait at the Exit doors after retrieving your luggage. Tour guide will lead you to the meeting point.

 

For those guests who arrive at O?Hare meeting point before 3:00pm, you will receive an additional gift - free transportation to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago which features many shopping and dining options, there?s no complementary airport pickup and shopping option for Midway Airport arrival.

 

For passengers who arrive before 5:00pm, you are invited to join the night tour of Chicago at $25 per person. (*To arrange the night tour, it requires at least 4 guests enrolled.)

DAY 2 -
Route 66
 

U.S. Route 66 (US 66 or Route 66) nicknamed the Mother Road, was one of the original highways within the U.S. Highway System. The highway began from Chicago and ran all the way to Santa Monica, California, covering a total of 2,448 miles (3,940 km). 

 

Itinerary: 

Chicago downtown → The crossing of Adams Street and Michigan Avenue(15 mins) → Lou Mitchell's(Optional, 45 mins) → Joliet → the Old Joliet Prison Park where the famous TV series Prison Break was made, Old Joliet Prison (Optional, 75 mins) → Pontiac → Route 66 Hall of Fame (Optional, 60 mins)→ the Pontiac Oakland Automobile Museum (45 mins)→ the Museum of the Gilding Art(45 mins)→ Chicago

 

Special Notes: Old Joliet Prison will be closed on certain dates, thus we will visit the attraction outside only. Already known dates: June 1st, June 8th and June 29th, July 20th and July 27th, August 24th, October 19th.

Route 66 Association Hall of Fame

It was originally established by the Illinois Route 66 association at the Dixie Truckers Home on the former US Route 66, relocated in June 2004 to early-1900s fire hall, and is now located in the former Pontiac City Hall and Fire Station, now known as the Pontiac Museum Complex. You can learn the history of Route 66 in Illinois, see images of the road's wonderful history, and hear a few great stories about life in America when Route 66 was the most important highway in the nation. 

 

The Pontiac Oakland Automobile Museum

The museum features antique and classic cars, and lots of automotive artifacts. The Resource Center Library has several thousand old highway maps, sales brochures, original design drawings, and service and owner's manuals. There are thousands of Pontiac and Oakland related items, and a wonderful display of over 2,000 oil cans to see. It changes the displays several times a year, so there is always something new in the museum.

 

Old Joliet Prison

Built in 1858, the iconic Old Joliet Prison was built as a powerful showpiece. It was designed to not only intimidate the inmates the inmates on inside, but those outside. Your chance to do time has come, go inside the prison gates and see where famous inmates and some famous television shows called home.

DAY 3 - Chicago City Tour

This tour will show you the best of Chicago in one day. This is a world’s top architecture city with bold architectures. You will take a walk in the Millennium Park, see the Cloud Gate, enjoy the urban view of the city from 360 Chicago,and grab a bite of authentic Chicago at Giordano’s Pizza, Garrett Popcorn, Portillo's Hot Dog.

DAY 4 - Harley-Davidson-Lake Geneva

We will start in the morning towards Milwaukee, the largest city of Wisconsin State, a state where you get to see true American spirit. Milwaukee is the birthplace of Haley-Davidson motorcycles. We will first visit the Harley Davidson Museum that showcases the American legendary motorcycle brand by collection of 450 motorcycles and artifacts including the oldest known Harley Davidson motorcycle. We will then visit the historical brewery of the Miller Brewing Company, another pride of Wisconsin. After lunch, we will go towards Lake Geneva, a favorite resort city for Chicagoans.

Harley Davidson Museum

The Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company has over 100 years of history, making some of the finest "choppers" - a style of motorcycle - in the world. This museum collects more than 450 motorcycles and artifacts including the oldest known Harley Davidson motorcycle and attracts more than 3000 tourists all over the world every year.

 
 

Miller Brewing Company

The Miller Brewing Company is an American beer brewing company headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Here in Miller Valley you will experience an indoor/outdoor guided walking tour of over 155 years of brewing history.  Ice-cold refreshing samples of our finest brews will be served at various stops along the tour (and after!) for those 21 and older. Water and soft drinks are available for guests under 21 or upon request.

Lake Geneva Cruise

The Lake Geneva was first nicknamed the “big footprint” by the aborigines. Later, because of the construction of the railway, it was favored by commercial circles in the 19th century. Logs, livestock, oil, steel, cement, manufacturing, and other business giants have built spectacular and luxurious holiday villas here. We will have the opportunity to take the cruise (closed in winter) and admire the many different styles of holiday houses that are spread over the lake.

DAY 5 - Indiana Dunes National Park-Amish House &Farm

In the morning we will drive to Indiana Dunes National Park, where we can take in some of Indiana's most famous lakeside landscapes and rolling sand dunes. Later in the afternoon, we will experience the traditional and rustic lifestyle of the Amish and enjoy the organic food here.

Indiana Dunes National Park

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is on the southern shore of Lake Michigan in Indiana. It has a string of sandy beaches, and trails through dunes, marshland, and jack pine forests. The Dune Succession Trail at West Beach has views of the Chicago skyline and the lake’s bird-rich wetland. Near the Little Calumet River are the Bailly Homes, an 1820s fur-trading post, and the restored Chellberg Farm.

Amish Acres

The Amish are the Protestant and Baptist Mennonites who lived in Europe and lived in the middle of the East Coast in the early 18th century in order to avoid severe religious persecution. For 300 years, they have relied on faith to adhere to the 18th century lifestyle, without electricity or driving, but now use energy such as solar energy. Today's Amish people still live a life of isolation. The simple farmhouses are scattered in the vast fields. In this era of super-technology in the 21st century, they are still self-sufficient and self-sufficient, but they are content with themselves.

  • Due to Fire Code in USA. all hotel bedding in each room is base on 2 doubles or 1 king / queen only with no exceptions.
  • It is your own responsibility to keep out smoking in non smoking rooms. Otherwise you will be penalized up to $350 (US dollars) cleaning fee plus hotel losses.
  • No meals included. Optional meals may be arranged at $30 (2 Meals) per day per person.
  • Tips are not included. Driver & Tour guide’s tips at $8.00 per day per person.
