Day 1 - USA / DELHI (On board flight)

Board a overnight flight for Delhi.

Day 2 - ARRIVE DELHI ( Arrive by late night flight)

Late evening arrives in Delhi International Airport. Assistance upon arrival by “Glorious India Tours” who will greet each member with a Marigold Garland. Delhi is acclaimed for being the cultural capital of India. The city has two distinct identities – the ‘Old Delhi and the ‘New’ Delhi the city having witnessed empires rise to glory and fall to ashes. some major tourist attractions. Old Delhi has the massive Red Fort (with a 350 year old city Shahjehanabad inside), the Jama Mosque, the crowded bazaars of Chandni Chowk and the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi (New Delhi, the creation of the British rule in India, has the stately President’s House, Parliament. In time transfer to Hotel Dinner and Overnight Stay in Hotel.

Day 3 - IN DELHI

Red Fort : The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor of India for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. In addition to accommodating the emperors and their households, it was the ceremonial and political centre of Mughal government and the setting for events critically impacting the region. Constructed in 1648 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone and is adjacent to the older Salimgarh Fort, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546
Jama Masjid : The Jama Masjid of Delhi, is the largest mosque in India.It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees, and was inaugurated by an imam from Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan. The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates, four towers and two 40 m high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 persons.

Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humyun. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife Bega Begum (Haji Begum)in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by Bega Begum.[ It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, and is located in Nizamuddin East, Delhi, India, close to the Dina-panah citadel also known as Purana Qila (Old Fort), that Humayun founded in 1533.
Qutab Minar is among the tallest and famous towers in the world. The minaret is 234 feet high [72.5 mtrs] and the highest individual tower in the world. It is called a red sandstone tower; Its construction was started around 1202 by Qutub ud-Din Aibak, the first Muslim Sultan of Delhi. It has five storey’s, and is the highest stone tower in India.

Day 4 - DELHI – VARANASI ( By flight)

The city of Varanasi is situated along the west bank of the Ganges in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Also known as ‘Benaras’, Varanasi is an important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. The city finds mention in the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana. It was a flourishing trade center when Buddha came to Sarnath, about 10 kms away, to preach his first sermon in 500 BC. Right from the ancient times, Varanasi has stood as a symbol of Hindu renaissance and preserved the rituals and traditions of Hindu philosophy. Down the ages, pilgrims from distant lands have come to Varanasi in search of divine blessings.

Sarnath -After Attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha came to Sarnath, where he preached his first sermon. In the sylvan surroundings of a deer park, he initiated his first five disciples into the Buddhist monk–hood. Here began one of the greatest religions of the world. Emperor Ashoka erected a magnificent Stupa here. Forgotten for centuries, Sarnath was excavated by British archaeologists in 1836.

Sarnath Museum -is the oldest site museum of Archaeological Survey of India and has great collection of artifacts and remains from the past & Museum is known for various artifacts of ancient times such as remains of Ashoka Pillar houses the famous Ashokan lion capital, and became the National Emblem of India and national symbol on the Indian flag. The museum also houses a famous and refined Buddha-image of the Buddha in Dharmachakra-posture.

The Mulagadh Kuti Vihar is a modern temple erected by the Mahabodhi Society . It has excellent frescoes by Japan’s foremost painter, Kosetu Notu and is a rich repository of Buddhist literature. Day 5 - VARANASI – KHAJURAHO (By flight)

Proceed to Sacred River Ganges Ghat for morning Boat Ride to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. Also proceed for city sightseeing visiting various Hindu Temples located along side the Bathing Ghats & Bharat Mata Temple
Khajuraho is a small town located amidst the forested plains of Bundelkhand in north-central Madhya Pradesh. The beautiful temples of Khajuraho are believed to have been built by the mighty Chandela rulers in the 9th and 10th century AD. The engravings on these temples are sensual and erotic, depicting graceful intimate scenes of the whole range of human emotions and relationships. Architecturally the temples are built in the north Indian Nagara style. and physical love. Every fa?ade—wall, window, pillar, and ceiling—is carved with figures of mythical and historical origins.

Western Group of Temples & Eastern group Temples Famous Temples of Western group, Kandariya Mahadev, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Lakshamana Temple:Matangeswara Temple:The Eastern Group, 2.4 km from city consists of seven temples (four Jain and three Hindu). The Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath, and Ghantai temples belong to the Jains while the Vamana, Javari and Brahma are Hindu temples.

Day 6 - KHAJURAHO – ORCHAA ( BY Surface) – JHANSI ( By Surface) – AGRA (By Train)

Check out from Hotel & depart for Jhansi en route lunch at Orchha and visit Orchha Fort Complex

Orchha - Over looked by the modern era, this beautiful medieval town was once the capital of Bundela Kings. Built along the banks of the river Betwa. Amongst the various imposing edifices, of particular interest are the Jehangiri Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, the Raj Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple, both noted for their fine Frescoes and Mural paintings.

1300Hrs: Arrive in Orchha later transfer to city restaurant for Lunch at  Raj Mahal,Orchha.
1430Hrs: Visiting Orcha Fort Complex has three palaces set in an open quad, and the complex is neared by a multi-arched bridge.

Jahangir Mahal:The Jahangir Mahal was constructed by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 16th Century to memorialize Raj Mahal:Rai Parveen Mahal:Rai Parveen Mahal was built in memory of the famous poetess and musician, Rai Parveen, the beautiful courtesan of Raja Indramani.
Sawon Badho Twin Tower : The ingenious Persian cooling system, in the form of two towers (or dastagirs) called the Sawon Badho Pillars were perforated on the top in order to catch the wind, while the lower part of the towers was connected to a reservoir of water.

Later continue to Drive for Jhansi Railway Station to board a train 12001 NDLS Shatabdi Exp. 1836/2110, arrive and board train for Agra.

Agra  was the seat of the imperial Mughal court during the 16th and the 17th centuries, before the capital was shifted to Delhi. It has been witness to the greatest gift of love – Taj Mahal, being created by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan for his deceased beloved queen – Mumtaz Mahal. Agra houses other beautiful monuments also like the Agra Fort, Sikandra and Itimad-ud-Daulah.

Day 7 - KHAJURAHO – ORCHAA ( BY Surface) – JHANSI ( By Surface) – AGRA (By Train)

Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the centre of the city. The crescent-shaped fort with its 20-metre high, 2.4 km outer walls contains a maze of buildings that form a small city within a city. One can enter the fort only through the Amar Singh Gate. It was here that Shahjahan breathed his last after seven years of imprisonment
1030 Hrs: Explore local shopping centre to check marble inlay work.
1230 Hrs:  Return back to Hotel for Lunch
1500 Hrs : Visit Sikandra Fort
Sikandra Fort is the mausoleum of Akbar. Akbar himself started construction of this beautiful monument. This structure has perfect blending of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhism, Jain themes. Sikandra is named after Sikandra lodi, the Delhi ruler who in power from 1488 to 1517.

Day 8 - AGRA – ABHANERI – JAIPUR (By Surface)

Visiting the world famous Taj Mahal & capture a memorable life time moment with group member and single snaps one  each to each at front view of Taj Mahal. Enjoy Tonga ride (Horse cart ride) from Hotel to  entrance gate of Taj Mahal Monument.

 On the banks of the river Yamuna stands the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the 17th century, the Taj today is source of attraction for millions of tourists from all over the world. The white marble building appears to change its hue according to variations in the daylight. In moonlight, especially on the full moon night, the marble appears extraordinarily luminescent. During winter months, the view of Taj at sunrise is magnificent. The Taj Mahal is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work.

Jaipur - The colorful capital of a richly colorful state, is a highly distinctive planned city, made all the more attractive by the pink wash that most buildings are periodically given. The important monuments worth visiting are Amber Fort - the Kachhawaha citadel until 1727, when their capital moved to Jaipur. The City Palace - which has been home to the rulers of Jaipur since the first half of the 18th century? The Observatory - built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur – Maharaja Jai Singh. Hawa Mahal – an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from behind which the royal ladies could watch the market activities.

City Palace one of the most beautiful & famous landmark located in the capital of Rajasthan, The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. 'Palace Of The Winds', or Hawa Mahal, this beautiful five-storey palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The main intention behind the construction of the Mahal was to facilitate the royal women and provide them a view of everyday life through the windows, as they never appeared in public.
1730 Hrs Birla Temple -Temple built entirely of the fines quality white marble, Birla temple of Jaipur looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. Birla Temple, in pure white marble, the enormous temple was built during the year 1988, by Birla group of industries, one of the business tycoons of India. The temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu (Narayan).

Day 9 - JAIPUR – DELHI (By Surface)

Amber Fort; Amber Fort located atop a hill, 11 kms north of Jaipur (Uphill & Downhill by Jeep).... Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression. After Sightseeing Board on jeep to return base of the Fort. Visit Observatory, Observatory [ Jantar Mantar] -Built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. Enormous sun-dial still provide accurate time, which are subject to daily corrections.Jantar Mantar has a remarkable collection of architectural astronomical instruments.

Day 10 - DELHI – DEPARTURE

Drive Pass of Rashtrapati Bhavan ['President House/Presidential Palace'] is the official residence of the President of India, located in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Until 1950 it was known as 'Viceroy's House' and served as the residence of the Governor-General of India. It is at the heart of an area known as Lutyens' Delhi The National Museum or Gandhi Memorial Museum is museum located in New Delhi, showcasing the life of life and principle of Mahatma Gandhi.The museum relocated several times before moving to Rajghat , New Delhi in 1961, Explore local shopping centre 1900Hrs: Transfer to city restaurant for Farewell Gala Dinner. Post Dinner transfer to airport to board a flight for onward destination.
